TRACKER has a long established and unique relationship with all of the UK's police forces.
Police Liaison Team
TRACKER has a dedicated police liaison team, which includes former police officers who work with all of the UK's police forces. Over 1,500 police vehicles and 30 helicopters across the UK have TRACKER detection systems fitted, with a commitment to increase that number.
TRACKER VHF (Very High Frequency) tracking equipment is also installed at all major UK seaports helping to identify stolen vehicles both leaving and entering the country.
TRACKER sponsors research and events for the Association of Chief Police Officers dedicated to reducing vehicle-enabled crime.
TRACKER the only stolen vehicle recovery company to win ACPO ‘Secured by Design’ accreditation
TRACKER is the first producer of vehicle tracking systems to be officially accredited by the police, sanctioned by the Association of Chief Police Officers through its "Secured by Design" initiative. This accreditation aims to encourage the development and design of products and services that assist in reducing the opportunity for crime.
"We only license products that have a decisive effect on security improvement and pass thorough tests. We are pleased and confident to give an accredation to TRACKER's stolen vehicle recovery systems, which have already shown their worth in the country's police forces, helping them to retrieve thousands of stolen vehicles".
